ZIZZONA Biggest MOZZARELLA in the World

Caseificio La Fattoria in Battipaglia, in the Campania region of southern Italy, makes the world’s biggest mozzarella balls. These giant-sized mozzarellas are made with buffalo milk and can weigh up to 88 lbs. The name Zizzona comes from a word in local dialect which means ‘a mother’s breast’ that releases milk.”
The “zizzona” of Battipaglia is a mozzarella famous of campania for its dimensions, in fact, it is possible to find in commerce of the varieties that you can weigh from 1kg up to 15 kg.
